My Thoughts
When I first received the bottle of Bac-Out, I opened it and just loved the refreshing lime scent which is from the lime peel extract. There was absolutely no harsh chemical fumes and that is because there is no chemicals in this stain and odour eliminator. Here is the list of ingredients: natural enzyme-producing cultures; food-grade lime extracts and stabilizers; vegetable based surfactants; and filtered water. Ooo-la-la! Surfactants are “conditioners that reduce the surface tension of water, allowing the surface to wet quickly so soil can be loosen and be removed.” Biokleen only uses vegetable based surfactants. I put a drop of Bac-out on my sensitive hands and I had no reaction to the product. As there is no chlorine bleach, phosphates, or other harmful elements, it is safe for the septic system too.
At first I thought it was just a carpet cleaner, but when I did some research I was pleasantly surprised to find the multiple uses that Biokleen Bac-Out Stain and Eliminator provides. I used it for the purpose of removing a stain on a bib and carpet, and cleaning the odor from my green box. Did it work? In each case it worked so awesome. Below is a picture of a bib with some grape jam stains and then another pic showing no stains. My green bin smelled great after some spraying. Biokleen destroys the toughest odours so they are gone for good!
